In this role, you will play a pivotal part in managing and optimizing supplier relationships, strategic sourcing, and category management, with a strong focus on software procurement.

  • Strategic Sourcing: Lead and execute long-term agreements through formal RFx processes, leveraging industry best practices.

  • Spend Analysis: Analyze spend data and industry trends to identify opportunities for cost savings, value creation, and process improvements.

  • Supplier Relationship Management: Develop strategic relationships with key suppliers, ensuring collaboration to achieve partnership objectives and business goals.

  • Negotiation: Lead negotiations on financial and business terms, ensuring risk mitigation and favorable outcomes in strategic contracts.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements, budgets, and challenges to design effective sourcing strategies.

  • Supplier Performance: Drive supplier segmentation, establish scorecards, and facilitate strategic business reviews in collaboration with internal teams.

  • Contract Management: Manage supplier contract renewals and ensure competitive pricing, high quality, and excellent customer service.

  • Process Optimization: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiencies and maximize procurement opportunities.

  • Stakeholder Guidance: Provide guidance and subject matter expertise on complex purchasing, legal, and contractual matters.

  • Leadership Engagement: Build strong relationships with senior leadership, acting as a trusted advisor on procurement strategies.

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 8 years experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or category management, with a focus on software.

  • Strong knowledge of software procurement, licensing models, and industry dynamics.

  • Proven expertise in contract negotiation, risk management, and supplier relationship management.

  • Proficiency in spend analysis and strategic sourcing methodologies.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
