Our client, a leading luxury organisation, is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to join their dynamic team. Position Overview

As the Procurement Manager, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders across the business. You will be responsible for supporting the design, development, and implementation of the procurement strategy to meet business requirements while ensuring alignment with overall procurement and business targets. This position offers the opportunity to drive cost-saving initiatives, optimize processes, and contribute to the company's mission of delivering a unique shopping experience.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business

  • Support the design, development, and implementation of the procurement strategy

  • Complete procurement projects in a timely manner, optimizing meetings and ensuring accountability

  • Create and deliver effective procurement strategies aligned with business objectives

  • Participate in the review and streamlining of procurement processes for increased efficiency

  • Engage with necessary functions within the organisation for project contracts

  • Identify and report cost-saving opportunities to drive financial performance

  • Conduct negotiations and execute procurement projects to achieve desired outcomes

  • Ensure regular supplier reviews and maintain effective communication methods

  • Manage supplier sourcing ethically and in accordance with company policies

Requirements

  • Proven track record of delivery in Procurement management within retail or a similar fast-paced service environment

  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills

  • Effective supplier performance management abilities

  • Accomplished negotiation skills with program and project management experience

  • Excellent negotiation abilities and deep understanding of best practice procurement delivered in an agile way

  • Knowledge of Supplier Relationship Management best practices

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications

  • Experience in creating and managing complex tender and benchmarking exercises

  • Ability to interpret contracts and understand commercial terms

  • CIPS certification is an advantage

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills

  • Customer service orientation and coaching skills

  • Ability to influence and manage senior leaders effectively
