Position Overview

The Regional Procurement Specialist role is a key role, enabling the effective and efficient delivery of procurement strategies that uphold safe, sustainable, and ethical practices. The position mandates collaborative work with stakeholders, promised with an opportunity to lead procurement for the entire region, providing clear guidance and promoting responsible buying patterns.

Responsibilities

  • Head procurement operations for the region, ensuring effective coordination with stakeholders

  • Manage the procurement portal in the region, facilitating seamless contract management

  • Develop thorough plans and strategies for improved category management across the company

  • Deliver exceptional commercial value and secure supply chain performance throughout contract lifecycles

  • Oversee purchasing performance in line with the company's purchase-to-pay cycle

Requirements

  • Proven track record in executing procurement projects efficiently

  • Previous experience of procurements for Infrastructure and engineering

  • CIPS qualification will be considered as an added advantage

  • Strong drive for continuous improvement and ability to work independently

  • Excellent skills in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and SAP

  • Experience in managing contracts and understanding of procurement regulations
