Are you ready to take on a high-impact role in a dynamic, evolving organization? My client, based in Colorado Springs, is seeking a Site Procurement Manager to join their team during an exciting period of transformation.

After a recent acquisition, the company is centralizing procurement activities to drive cost savings, efficiency, and value creation across the organization as they embark on a growth trajectory over the next 3-5 years.

This role offers a mix of operational and strategic sourcing responsibilities, ideal for a procurement professional with a manufacturing background or experience managing raw materials or OPEX spend.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Sourcing:

Analyze spend data and trends to develop and implement sourcing initiatives that deliver measurable value.

  • Supplier Management:

Build and maintain value-driven supplier partnerships, focusing on cost, delivery, and quality.

  • Contract Negotiation:

Lead supplier negotiations, securing favorable terms for cost, quality, and service.

  • Operational Excellence:

Ensure uninterrupted supply of materials to production by issuing and scheduling purchase orders based on demand and inventory levels.

  • Performance Tracking:

Define and track KPIs, monitor scorecards, and evaluate supplier performance for continuous improvement.

  • Market Intelligence:

Stay ahead of industry trends through frequent market analysis, benchmarking, and sourcing new supplier opportunities.

  • Efficiency Improvements:

Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in the supply chain, driving solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce costs

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience in Manufacturing or Raw Materials Procurement:

A background in managing raw materials, OPEX spend, or procurement operations in a manufacturing environment.

  • Strategic and Operational Expertise:

A balance of hands-on operational skills and the ability to think strategically.

  • Proven Negotiation Skills:

Success in negotiating contracts and supplier agreements to deliver measurable results.

  • Analytical Strength:

Ability to conduct financial analyses, assess total cost ownership, and identify cost-saving opportunities.

If you’re a driven procurement professional looking for a role where you can truly make an impact, we want to hear from you!
