$85,000–$90,000 Base + 10% Bonus
Are you ready to take on a high-impact role in a dynamic, evolving organization? My client, based in Franklinton, is seeking a Site Procurement Manager to join their team during an exciting period of transformation.
After a recent acquisition, the company is centralizing procurement activities to drive cost savings, efficiency, and value creation across the organization as they embark on a growth trajectory over the next 3-5 years.
This role offers a mix of operational and strategic sourcing responsibilities, ideal for a procurement professional with a manufacturing background or experience managing raw materials or OPEX spend.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Sourcing:
Analyze spend data and trends to develop and implement sourcing initiatives that deliver measurable value.
Supplier Management:
Build and maintain value-driven supplier partnerships, focusing on cost, delivery, and quality.
Contract Negotiation:
Lead supplier negotiations, securing favorable terms for cost, quality, and service.
Operational Excellence:
Ensure uninterrupted supply of materials to production by issuing and scheduling purchase orders based on demand and inventory levels.
Performance Tracking:
Define and track KPIs, monitor scorecards, and evaluate supplier performance for continuous improvement.
Market Intelligence:
Stay ahead of industry trends through frequent market analysis, benchmarking, and sourcing new supplier opportunities.
Efficiency Improvements:
Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in the supply chain, driving solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience in Manufacturing or Raw Materials Procurement:
A background in managing raw materials, OPEX spend, or procurement operations in a manufacturing environment.
Strategic and Operational Expertise:
A balance of hands-on operational skills and the ability to think strategically.
Proven Negotiation Skills:
Success in negotiating contracts and supplier agreements to deliver measurable results.
Analytical Strength:
Ability to conduct financial analyses, assess total cost ownership, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
