Position overview

As a Buyer you will be responsible for managing software renewals, ensuring compliance with procurement processes, and supporting finance with forecasting and variance analysis. You will collaborate with various teams including Procurement, Finance, and Technology to clarify renewal & budget requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Manage software renewals tracker and contracts database records

  • Handle low value software renewals including requesting, reviewing, and negotiating software licence renewals

  • Liaise with suppliers for queries relating to quotations, orders, invoices, and correspondence

  • Manage software reseller relationship

  • Support finance with forecasting and variance analysis

  • Collaborate with the Technology Category Lead on additional low value technology-related procurement requirements

  • Provide support for RFx activities and adhoc data requests, including management information requests, spend analysis, RFIs, and due diligence checks

  • Assist with the management of e-sourcing platform, contracts database, and other procurement-related systems & processes

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

  • Strong proficiency in MS Excel

  • Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently

  • Experience in low value contract & licensing negotiations

  • Ability to work with large volumes of data with a high focus on accuracy

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with all levels of management

DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

  • Understanding of P2P systems and processes

  • Studying towards MCIPS
