About the Role
Our client, a global leader in sustainable development, is seeking a Global Procurement Manager to lead IT category sourcing and contracting initiatives. Based in London, Bristol & Birmingham this is an exciting opportunity to make a strategic impact within a forward-thinking organisation.
As part of the Group Procurement function, you will manage procurement activities across software, SaaS, cloud, infrastructure, and hardware, ensuring best practices, sustainability, and efficiency in vendor management and contract negotiations.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end sourcing and contracting for IT categories, ensuring cost-effective and strategic supplier agreements
Conduct contract reviews, renewals, performance management, and negotiations with key vendors
Perform vendor due diligence and develop strong supplier relationships
Embed sustainability and ethical procurement practices into sourcing processes
Collaborate with Legal, Finance, and other stakeholders to execute supplier agreements and maintain compliance
Provide insights and reports to senior management while driving continuous improvement initiatives
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience in IT procurement, particularly in software, SaaS, cloud, infrastructure, and hardware categories
Strong negotiation skills and ability to drive value through supplier relationships
Expertise in contract management, risk mitigation, and best-in-class procurement strategies
Results-driven mindset with a focus on benefits delivery and process automation
BSc degree and MCIPS qualification (or equivalent) preferred
Exceptional communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving skills
