🔍Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related.
Minimum of 8+ years in a similar role, with a strong track record in supply chain management, logistics, and production planning. Food or CPG is a huge plus
Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of S&OP processes, logistics chains, and supply planning.
Experience with implementing an SAP SCM
(Supply Chain Management) is required, as well as a proven ability to leverage technology to enhance supply chain efficiency.
Stakeholder Management: Skilled at interacting with multiple stakeholders, including external clients, internal teams, and logistics providers. Adept at coordinating complex interdependencies to meet business objectives.
Logistics Expertise: Familiarity with inter-modal logistics and inventory management. Able to design and implement strategies that streamline logistics operations, enhance coordination, and support cost-effective transportation solutions.
Language Skills: Advanced proficiency in English is required and Spanish is a plus
📋Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning & S&OP Leadership: Lead and oversee the S&OP process to align all functional areas, integrating sales, operations, and logistics teams to drive short-term and long-term planning. Develop and implement initiatives to streamline planning processes and improve overall responsiveness to market demands.
Demand & Supply Analysis: Develop and apply methodologies for accurate demand forecasting and supply analysis. Collaborate closely with sales teams to secure precise demand projections and coordinate with production and logistics teams to guarantee supply capacity aligns with projected demand.
Inventory & Supply Management: Ensure effective inventory management to meet sales and service goals while protecting working capital. Focus on rationalizing inventory levels across locations to support efficiency, reduce waste, and maintain optimal stock levels
End-to-End Logistics Oversight: Manage logistics operations with an end-to-end perspective, grounded in operational excellence and continuous improvement principles. Oversee logistics to support smooth worldwide delivery and ensure each facility adheres to high standards of service, safety, and compliance.
Operational Excellence: Develop and drive strategies that reduce costs and boost efficiency across each stage of the supply chain. Maintain compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards, ensuring best practices across all levels of operation.
Reporting & Data Analysis: Track, report, and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) for the department. Focus on metrics that directly and indirectly impact business outcomes, using data to refine strategies and enhance the effectiveness of the supply chain.
Interdepartmental Communication & Collaboration: Facilitate seamless communication across departments, including sales, marketing, finance, production, and logistics. Promote strategic alignment and facilitate consensus-based decision-making to support S&OP goals.
