A Quality Engineer is sought for a site-based, permanent role in West Suffolk. Salary on application, + Bonus, pension, life & health Insurance.
Joining a successful and financially technologically advanced manufacturing organisation within the engineering team, the Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring Product and Process Quality Compliance.
You will monitor Quality KPIs, process performance and failures, to identify issues and provide the documentation, tools, standards, and training needed for the organisation to meet quality standards.
Responsibilities:
Ensure Quality failures and problems are resolved.
Analyse quality failures and customer complaints to identify trends and implement quality improvements.
Use FMEA, Failure Modes Effects Analysis to develop and implement quality controls.
Develop quality standards, implement, and ensure compliance
Assist the production and supply chain teams with root cause analysis.
Monitor process quality KPIs, and organize corrective actions as required.
Identify quality problems within Production.
Conduct process and product audits and ensure pertinent corrective actions are taken.
Manage the RMA, Return Merchandise Authorisation process.
Who we are looking for:
An expert Quality Engineer your career success to date will have been gained in a complex manufacturing organisation.
Relevant mechanical or electronical engineering experience.
Previous application of failure modes and root cause analysis.
Knowledge of Statistical Process Control, Statistical Sampling, R&R etc.
Previous experience working in Electronics manufacturing is advantageous.
It is essential you are willing and able to work onsite.
